Physician - Dr. David Hedges
Dr. Hedges grew up in nearby Bluefield. After completing his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech,
he went on to earn his Medical Degree and complete his education and training as listed below. Despite numerous
opportunities to practice in other areas, he and his wife Toni chose Blacksburg as their home. The choice was a good one.
Dr. Hedges and family have thoroughly enjoyed the area and his patients have appreciated his manner of quality eye care.
He understands that every exam and each operation is for the benefit of the individual patient. He is sincerely concerned
about the needs of each and every patient. This is reflected in his meticulous attention to detail, tailored to each person's
vision requirements.
Dr. Hedges has a long list of talents and interests outside of the office. Besides
spending time with his family, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, farming, hiking, biking, tennis, and photography. His photographs have been published by

a show at The International Photography Hall of Fame.
